Center for Workforce Development Rendering Center for Workforce Development Rendering

Weiss Hall - Center for Workforce Development

Construction is well underway of a nearly 90,000 square-foot center for workforce development, applied research and outreach, located on the 300 block of Madison Avenue. 

The four-story building will include specialized laboratories, training and education spaces and will be home to two academic departments, student health and wellness. Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025.

The 吃瓜天堂 and Widener 吃瓜天堂 Commonwealth Law School have signed an admission agreement that will allow Scranton students who meet program requirements to be eligible to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Scranton and a juris doctor (JD) degree from Widener Law School in six years, rather than seven years. At the agreement signing are, seated from left: Matthew Kerns, J.D., associate dean of admissions; andr茅 douglas pond cummings, J.D., dean, Widener 吃瓜天堂 Commonwealth Law School; Carolyn McNamara Barry, Ph.D., dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Matthew Meyer, Ph.D., professor of philosophy and pre-law advisor, The 吃瓜天堂.
