- formerly known as Child Hunger Outreach Partners, is a Scranton-based nonprofit dedicated to combating food insecurity among students, from grade school through college. We provide in-school pantries and weekend food bags to ensure students have access to nutritious meals, bridging the gap in food security when school meals are not available.  Volunteers are key to our work, helping with tasks like packing food bags, preparing in-school pantries, and deliveries. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00PM, with Saturday and evening options available. Group volunteer events are welcome. To volunteer, visit
